Photoshop Bible MacWorld Photoshop 3 Bible/Book and Cd-Rom by Deke McClelland. This is one of those Big Computer Books, useful not only for learning Photoshop but also as a small coffee table , ballast, or counterweight.

Seriously, though, this book, although "Mac" is in the title is also useful for Windows Photoshop users too. McClelland has documented every single Photoshop tool and command in this hefty tome. This book is for advanced to intermediate users - beginners most likely will be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information here. This book is truly a Bible for Photoshop, and McClelland has a nice, light, humorous writing style that makes it readable and interesting. The book is in black and white with a color insert.
