Web Diner List Tutorial

Using lists on a web page allows you to offer a variety of related information in an organized way. Lists break up the monotony of paragraph after paragraph of information. There are many options to presenting lists that you may not be familiar with.

For example, you can have an Ordered (or numbered) List that uses regular (Arabic) numbers, Roman numerals, or letters. Additionally, your Ordered List doesn't have to start with 1 (or I, or A in the case of using Roman numerals or letters).

You can start an Unordered List with the default bullet, or (for Netscape only) you can specify a circle, hollow square, or square as a bullet. This tutorial will walk you through using:

Ordered Lists

  1. Using Numbers
  2. Using Roman Numerals
  3. Using Letters
  4. Starting a list someplace other than number 1
