with Gif Construction Set

The latest version of Gif Construction Set (1.0 L ) has a nifty feature built in. By simply selecting Edit/ Transition from the Gif Construction Set menu bar, you can create professional looking animations in just a few simple steps. Once you select Edit/Transition, you'll want to choose a type of transition, and then simply use the Select icon to choose a gif to apply the Transition effect to.

You can preview some examples of different types of transitions :

Adam 7 Interlace See the Scottie dog appear and disappear.
Horizontal Split Watch a cup of coffee come together.
Vertical Split A simple icon comes to life.
Raster Which way does the arrow point?
Sandstorm Wow!
Tile An icon falls to pieces.
Wipe in from Left Go this way!
Wipe in from Right No, go that way!
Wipe in from Top Sunrise, sunset.
Wipe in from Bottom A rainbow on the horizon.

These examples are not only useful for deciding which transition to use, they're also useful to demonstrate how simple animation effects are achieved.
